It hadn't been long since he left the carcass of the female and her newly orphaned pup behind. Not yet heading straight back to Vektren, Andras had moved off in a new direction to 'explore'. It wasn't really curiosity, but the need to let his blood settle from his most recent kill. The adrenaline still pumped strongly within his veins and Andras felt jittery and anxious; like an addict on a using high. He hadn't been wondering very far before a new smell had entered his nostrils. A new pack? Interesting.. he had mused to himself. He knew there were a plethora of packs within the domain, but he had yet to root them all out. This one, he was vaguely aware of. They had just had a war, but he couldn't place the name to save his life. Oh well. Under the blanket of darkness Andras slipped along it's border, nostrils flaring. Maybe this trek outside of Vektren could serve his purpose as well; maybe it would give him some information to bring back to Hekate.

She had had a fitful sleep; a sleep filled with feverish dreams of monsters and demons, and a pain seeping up her back that she couldn't explain. Awoken in a cold sweat, the pale female had stood and made her way quietly out of the den, stretching as she did do. Maybe the crick and the dreams were just anxiety, perhaps a walk would cure them? Gabitrix wasn't sure, but she would try anything at this point. Groggily and with heavy paws the Vicar had made her way slowly towards Aryn's most eastern border, lidded green eyes trailing the silhouetted mountains slowly. Aryn was such a beautiful place, so magical and mysterious in its ways. She stands quietly, observing the landscape, before a crack from the shadows gives her pause and Gabitrix cranes her head to peer wonderingly into the brush past Aryn's border, her ears twitching.

He hadn't expected to have company, especially at this hour in the night, and yet there she was standing like a ghost in the dim moonlight. Andras watched her quietly from the shadows, dark eyes curious and intrusive. She looked familiar, but Andras had seen many wolves in his lifetime; why should this particular one be special? He shifts, slipping through the darkness unseen as he moves a ways before her, positioning himself in a better spot. He was curious as to why she was out here, but he knew in his current state there was no way to approach her without causing alarm. His tongue licks at the crimson stain along his muzzle, the metallic taste bringing a glint to his eyes.

Green eyes narrow, the scar along her muzzle burning as her heart beat begins to speed up. She could hear the thumping in her ears, the faint gurgle of a river not far off, and yet all was quiet just outside the border. Gabitrix goes to move, but pauses, gaze lingering on the glint of moonlight off something within the brush not far away. She began to wonder; is this what deer felt like when they were being stalked by a predator? Was she still dreaming? Was there even anything out there? A shiver runs the length of the slender Vicar's form and Gabi' takes a slow step backwards. She needed to go home.. this wasn't safe.. Her body ached and her face felt flushed, but for some reason she believed the worst of her troubles lingered just out of sight.

Dark eyes watch her, and Andras can't help but sneer as she begins to notice she isn't alone. The smell of fear wafted off of the slender female in droves, and Andras smelled something else as well; sickness. His shoulders shift as he moves his form, never letting her out of his sight however. If he couldn't do what he normally would, he could at least have a little fun. So Andras, with a bemused snicker, begins to hum. He hums the lullaby of his earlier victim. While the tune was made to be soothing, coming from him within the darkness it carried with it an air of deviousness and malice. He watches her intently, slowly pushing himself from the brush to reveal himself with a twisted sneer.

Gabitrix's entire body goes rigid as the sound begins to drift from the shadows. The very nature of the what would be a lullaby made her senses scream danger. Every part of her was on edge and itching to flee, but for some reason the pale female stands where she is. Quiet, Gabitrix's green eyes settle on the blurry figure as it emerges from the darkness and her breath sucks in between her teeth. That face.. she knew that face. Flash backs of her childhood blurred her vision; a pale male covered In blood, standing over her best friends father with a sneer so twisted she was sure it came from the devil himself. Snapping back to reality, Gabitrix continues to watch as the specter drew closer, his breathing coming now in strangled gasps. She wasn't sure when she decided to do it, but the next thing Gabi' knew she was running; no sprinting, back to the Aryn den. Tears stung her eyes and the world pitched and blurred around her.

Andras watches as terror and fear unfold upon the females features and yet one other thing that brings a curious glint to his eyes; recognition. Perhaps he did know this female? Perhaps not. He doesn't have time to ask as she turns and bolts from the Aryn border like a spooked doe in the night. His sneer explodes into a full blown grin as he chuckles and laughs in the silence of the night. Head shaking from side to side the Vektren wolf turns and trots back towards his home, that mild curiosity tugging at the back of his brain.

Hmm.. He was hungry.

Poor Gabi! D: At least Andras does not seem to recognize her!
